The mission of PHPS is to promote ACADEMICS and ATHLETICS, developing a student athlete. We are committed to raising our youths self-esteem and high moral character through supporting them to be the best they can be, through HARD WORK, HIGH ENTHUSIAM, WORKING AS A TEAM, USING POSITIVE THINKING, and REALISTIC GOALS.

(2010): Pangos Sweet16 “Gold Bracket†Runner Up, Rumble in the Bay Elite 8. Wins over, The Magic, Team Odom, Danny Grainger All-Stars, ICAN All Stars, LA Rockfish.
(2009): GP Gloves Tournament Champions, Pangos Sweet16 “Silver Bracket†Runner Up, Rumble in the Bay Elite 8, Regional AAU Qualifier Champions, Reebok Summer Championships A†Division Champions.
(2008): Sac Area Sports Tournament Champions, Rumble in the Bay Final 4. Wins over Double Pump Elite, Oakland Soldiers, IEBP.

Organization Information
Play Hard Play Smart founded in 2002, is a non profit 501 (c3), community based, youth development organization. Established in 2002 and led by professional men and women to expose our youth to the essential educational and athletic disciplines necessary to become productive student athletes and members of our community. PHPS increases College and University awareness of Northern California’'s student athlete talent pool, which in past tended to be overlooked. Our program participates in Top Basketball Tournaments and Camps, throughout the United States. Our staff is in constant contact with Coaches and Scouts from numerous Colleges and Universities all over the Country. Our objective is to make sure that our student athletes are mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared to take their skills to college and beyond.

*PHPS has Teams ranging from 11U through 17U, (Boys & Girls)
*PHPS also host various events such as the “"50 Elite"†and the
"Northwest Discovery Showcaseâ€", that attracts lots of the Top talent in
Northern California
